The President’s Volunteer Service Award is a national honor given to dedicated volunteers who meet federal eligibility requirements based on their age and the number of hours they volunteer each year. Teens between the ages of 11 and 15 need to volunteer for at least 50 hours in a 12-month period to qualify for the award. Teens ages 16 and up are only eligible for the award after 100 hours of volunteer service. To qualify for this award through Friendship Circle, volunteers must log their volunteer hours through the FCconnect app or website.
The awards will be presented at the annual FCVC event.
