We know, you’re busy; what with school, sports, friends and more.

But, we also know that you want to make a difference in the world; that your generation is committed to improving the world step by step, person by person.

As a volunteer with the Friendship Circle you will make that difference by getting to know someone who can really use a friend like you — a child with special needs. Committing to just a few hours each week as a volunteer, you can change the life of a child by doing the things you already enjoy – playing games and sports, drawing, listening to music and more.

Depending on your grade, we have a program just for you. Volunteer Club (for students in grades 8-12) or the Mitzvah Volunteer Program (for students in grades 6 and 7) are the perfect way for you to start.

Volunteers can choose from a large variety of programs throughout the year in which to participate, including:

  • Sunday Morning Torah Circle – meets weekly during the school year.
  • Allie’s Summer or Winter Camp – a one-week camp for FC participants.
  • Friends @ Home – a group of volunteers go to the home of a child with special needs weekly for games, activities and more.

You can even customize your volunteer experience based on your schedule and interests.

Oh, and by joining the Friendship Circle as a volunteer you’ll join thousands of teens from around the world in a global movement to make sure that all children, regardless of their abilities, have someone they can call their friend.

How’s that for helping the global village?
